The Eagles had a great pick in the draft, but selected Donovan McNabb instead of Ricky Williams, which was criticized heavily by fans at the time. The 2001 draft was another bad one, although it was the first one I’ve analyzed in which Andy Reid wasn’t given full control over the team, so he doesn’t deserve all of the blame.
